TASOSS mobilized resources through the following viz, The DSSSs, Tamil Nadu Bishop’s Conference, TNCRI, all the Commissions and individuals. It also sensitized the print media (Nam Vazhvu the official Church magazine) and visual media (Madha Television run by TNBC) to mobilize resources.
Thus with the Diakonial Experience TASOSS ensured on Giving Communities which emphasizes on strategic actions such as mobilizing community resources and generating support from other corporate and foundations. In particular TASOSS ensured both giving and receiving in this humanitarian response which was crucial in-terms of the damage which was quite peculiar unlike other disasters which causes deaths and damage to houses. This is mostly a complete damage to their only source of livelihood.
Similarly TASOSS was able to mobilize volunteers for the relief and rescue activities from different walks of life in the aftermath of this vast disaster.
